Our mission...
 
  • To bring together young people of the community aged 8 - 30 years, principally untrained to discover the joy of singing, to develop musical awareness and knowledge, and to learn good vocal technique and the art of professionalism.
  • To build fine character through friendship, team work, discipline, leadership, example and the teaching of Christian doctrines and beliefs.
  • To stimulate interest within our community by participation in public concerts, official functions and other related activities and within the group by sharing in discussions, seminars, music camps, competition and performance.
  • To provide vocal scholarships to selected talented members based on audition, commitment and circumstance. To present, commission, promote and record Australian music both within Australia and Internationally.
  • To provide opportunities through touring both overseas and within Australia, hosting international and other visiting choirs, scheduling concerts and other choral and musical events that will help to develop cultural relations and friendships with people of similar musical regard and standards.
  • To maintain a standard of excellence through every aspect of presentation and performance thereby enhancing the quality of life within the choir and community.
